How to brew tea
#1. Warm up the cups with warm water. When the weather is cold, use hot water.
#2. Measure the amount of the leaves. To serve five persons, use 10-12 g.
#3. First, pour out the hot water used for warming up the pot. Then pour hot water into the pot. The water should be boiled separately beforehand.
#4. Empty the water used for warming from the cups. Pour out the hot water from the cups used for warming them. (Or use the same hot water for tea by transferring it from the cups to the pot.)
#5. Pour tea into each cup. Steep for desired time. Then pour the tea a little at a time into each cup in turn until all the water in the pot is used up. There should be no water left in the pot. This ensures that the quality of the tea is equal in all the cups with no person's tea being too weak or too strong.
#6. Serve the cups on saucers. This picture shows the suggested amount of tea to be served in each cup.
